This is the official website of David A. Davis, aka hpkomic: I am a writer, illustrator, and educator who can be found in the wilds of the Inland Empire, CA.
Here are some fun facts about me:
- I have a Master’s degree in Literature and Writing Studies from CSUSM
- I currently teach English classes at Mt. San Jacinto College
- I currently run three online comics:
- A sci-fi adventure called Cosmic Dash
- An anthology called Silver Spiral Stories
- A comic strip called RGBots
- I have a radio show called The Mutant Hours, and I co-host Supernatural Selection.

Here are several of the current projects I am currently involved with. Projects may be added to this list.
Cosmic Dash
Cosmic Dash is a science fiction multimedia project. The central project is the webcomic, but the series has sprouted minicomics, short story collections, and even a novella.
I write and illustrate the comic.
This is for a general audience.
RGBots
RGBots is an experimental webcomic project designed around the usage of premade assets. Many strips use similar images, but each punchline is original.
I developed the art assets and wrote most of the strips.
This is for a mature audience.
